President's Welcome

Welcome to the Quinebaug Valley Community College website. With our main campus in Danielson, a borough of Killingly, and an additional site in Willimantic, we have been successfully serving the needs of Northeast Connecticut since 1971. On this website you will find a wealth of information about our programs and services and news about the College.

Quinebaug Valley Community College offers a wide array of programs for students of all ages and with a wide range of goals. These include associate degrees directed to transfer and/or a career; credit certificates; training for businesses and their employees; Kids Academy; and Learning in Retirement as examples. The driver for all we do is “Learners First" and we are known for the individual attention and support our learners receive at an affordable cost from a committed and stable staff and faculty. Remember that an investment in you via education is one that can never lose value.

Just as you are gaining information about us from our website, as a student you will be able to apply, register, do library research, get your grades and transcripts, and take courses online. Technology is a key component of all we do both for efficiency and to prepare students for the world of today and tomorrow. Think high tech but high touch!
