Admissions

Quinebaug Valley Community College maintains an open admissions policy, extending the opportunity for higher education to all who want to prepare more fully for effective participation in modern society. Students must be graduates of an approved secondary school, hold a state high school equivalency diploma (GED), or be certified as home-school completion. Prospective students who are not high school graduates and have not yet earned a state high school equivalency diploma must meet ability to benefit guidelines. Verification forms and further information may be obtained from the Admissions Office in Danielson or Willimantic.

Admission to some programs at the College may require a personal interview and/or special academic background. Acceptance to the College does not constitute acceptance into these specialized programs.
