DIRECTOR OF COLLEGE DEVELOPMENT FIRST WOMEN TO CROSS THE FINISH LINE AT THE 2009 AMICA NEWPORT MARATHON

Monique C.K. Wolanin braved an early nor'easter and finished the 2009 Amica Newport Marathon with a time of 3:23:54, finishing 18th! She was the first woman to cross the finish line. Great job Monique! Ms. Wolanin also used the marathon as an opportunity to raise money for the Learning in Retirement endowed scholarship. So far the LiR "Dash for the Cash" has raised more than $1,800.
