LiR History
LiR is an independent, self-governing membership organization under the auspices of the Center for Community and Professional Learning at Quinebaug Valley Community College. In November of 1994, a Steering Committee met and as a result, a social hour and information session was planned for January of 1995. There was a great turnout for this first meeting and by February of 1995 LiR had 120 Charter Members. Today, membership continues to grow steadily and now there are over 450 members.
