Welcome Adjunct Faculty

Welcome to the adjunct faculty website and the new semester! This website is an electronic faculty handbook and a perpetual work in progress. Please contact us with ideas for additions and recommendations for information that should be included.

QVCC's guiding principle, or hoshin, is Learners First. For many of us, it means that learning is our business and our work is to create a place in which learners are the focus. Much of the time, we are speaking about QV's students, credit and noncredit, but we are also talking about ourselves as we learn. QVCC offers you opportunities throughout the semester to learn new strategies and techniques, and to participate in discussions. Please join us. You are welcome at all of the College's activities.

You have signed on to teach Northeast Connecticut's finest students. During a typical semester our students range in age from 16 to 80 something. With this rich cross section of generations comes classes vibrant in experience and individuals of all ages dreaming of a better future. Our learners are relying on each of us to inspire them, encourage them, and provide a fertile learning environment that moves them closer to meeting their goals.
