Transitioning from Vista 3 to Blackboard Vista
Beginning with the Summer 2008 semester, the twelve Connecticut Community Colleges will be transitioning from WebCT Vista 3.0 to Blackboard Vista (also known as Vista 4.0). Changes to the user interface are not as drastic as those associated with the Campus Edition to Vista 3.0 transition but there are slight differences that you will want to familiarize yourself with. In addition, new functionality including journals (both public and private), blogs, and grading forms have been added to the application that enable faculty members to further enhance the online teaching and learning experience.
The timeline for the transition is included here for your review. Bear in mind that Blackboard Vista will not be available during the following time periods:
April 15-April 30, 2008
June 1-August 1, 2008
July 12-July 13, 2008
