Using Student Web Self Service

To Login to Web Self Service

Go to the myCommNet online portal at http://my.commnet.edu
Logon with your NetID (in the form 123456789@student.commnet.edu) and password (remember your password is Case Sensitive)
Select the Student tab and then the Self Service System link.

To View or Print a Schedule of Classes

Login as described above
Select QVCC from college list
Select "Student Services and Financial Aid"
Click on "Registration and Payment"
Select "Student Detail Schedule"
Select "Term ( ie: Fall 2005)" and press "Submit"
Select Print
OR
Select "Student Schedule by Day and Time" and select a week
Select Print

To Update Your Personal Information

Login
Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid"
Select "Personal Information" area
Check address
Enter/update email address if you have one.

To Find Your Advisor

Login
Click on "Student Services and Financial Aid"
Select "Student Records"
Select "Term"
Scroll Down to see Advisor
If no advisor is listed, you may request one be assigned by contacting the Learning and Student Development office.

To View or Print an Unofficial Transcript (Grades)

Login
Select "Student Records"
Select "Academic Transcript"
Select "QVCC Credit"
Scroll down to view transcript and "Print" Explore all your options in the "Student Services & Financial Aid" menus

Free Web Service ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION

If you need to provide proof of enrollment for health or auto insurance, a credit card company, a discount on a car purchase, etc, you can print an enrollment verification certificate to send to any of these places. You can also check on student loans and deferment notifications.

Login
Go to the Student Records menu.
You will see an option “Request for Enrollment Verification”.
Explore the options available to you through this link to the National Student Clearinghouse site. For Fall 2005, the official enrollment file will be sent to the National Student Clearinghouse in September 2005. You will be able to print the certificates a few days later, after the file is processed.

To View and Search COURSE SCHEDULE & SEAT AVAILABILITY.

Go to http://my.commnet.edu and select "Search for Courses" OR go directly to the Course Schedule webpage.
Click on "Course Schedule"
Select "by Term" in the drop down list
Select Quinebaug Valley Community College in "by College" drop down list
Select Credit in the "by Level" area.
Click on Get Courses
