The Barnes Seminar

The Barnes Seminar is an annual, three-day retreat/seminar run by the Center For Teaching of the Connecticut Community College System.  It is modeled after the "Great Teachers Seminar" and is offered as a way for faculty in the Community College System to renew themselves and their teaching spirit at the end of the academic year.

This annual offering is named in honor of one of the early founders of the Center For Teaching in the System, Leroy Barnes, who was also one of the early initiators of the annual "Spring Seminar."
