Professional Development Funding, 2008-2009
Each academic year the college receives a budget through the System Office, under the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, to which both full and part-time faculty can apply for professional development activities. Applications are made to an annually-elected committee that oversees the disbursement of funds for appropriate use. Every effort is made by the committee to insure that all interested faculty have opportunity to receive at least part of their annual costs for professional development, based on the amount of available funding.

Applying for Funds
The professional development committee meets about once each month to consider applications for fund. Application packets are available in the main faculty offices, with instructions on filling out the appropriate forms.
