Your final grade for the course will be determined
by averaging the following:

                 Quizzes: (2) 50pts. ea.                            Test: (1) 100pts.

                 Book Report: (2) 100pts. ea.                  Project: (1) 100pts

                 Clippings project: 50pts.                             

                 Discussion-Posting: 200pts. total based on
                 an assessment of discussion posts as
                 described in syllabus assignment. Formula
                 for this grade will be further explained in an online discussion.                  

Two quizzes will be scheduled in main syllabus. We will review for these. One test will be scheduled as noted, as well. None of these will require that online students come to the QVCC campus.

Also: Students will be encouraged to use computers in new ways for this class... Please don't panic with this or let this scare you away! Talk with me.... "We can work it out.."

Much of it should actually be fun and interesting...
