The building is making great progress and the product is magnificent.

• Furniture will soon begin to arrive

• the mechanical and electrical systems are being operated with training underway

• late-stage finishing work is underway

• final stage scheduled actions are being arranged

As with most projects, changes to the fundamental contract involve extensions of the forecast completion period. The Connecticut Department of Public Works, as administrator of the contract, is negotiating these changes with the contractor, and will continue to oversee the completion of the contract over the next few weeks.

The target completion date will be updated upon completion of the negotations. We are extremely proud of the new building and upgraded existent facility, and will welcome visitors to the ribbon cutting ceremony as soon as it can be scheduled.
