History of Religion
Electronic Fair
Greetings
Everyone,
My name is
Bill Army and I am the instructor for the History of Religion course offered at
QVCC for the fall 2007. The primary text we used was The Illustrated World's
Religions: A Guide to Our Wisdom Traditions, by Huston Smith; it was
published by HarperSanFrancisco. The course introduced the students to the basic
tenets of the major world religions:
Hinduism
Buddhism
Confucianism
Taoism
Islam
Judaism
Christianity
Primal Religions
But this is a website about the
student's work in the course and not an exploratory on the religions of the
world. So...
When you
knock on the door below (mouse over) you will be welcomed into our
Electronic Fair
where each student selected three of the major world religions and accentuated
the similarities and differences of each. The students presented their work in
one of three ways: via PowerPoint,
web-page design, or by writing a paper and
converting it into an audio file.
Please come inside, meet the
students, and take a look at the projects they have created.
