Web Page Design Certificate
Quinebaug Valley Community College’s Web Page Design Certificate Program is intended to address both the industry’s need for designers to possess greater competency in language, visual communication, and graphic design skill, as well as formal training for the avid hobbyist in essential industry standard software programs. This certificate program will benefit both web page designers and those individuals who want to gain the necessary skills to obtain an entry-level web page designer position. In this five-part, 80-hour series, students will work in a single environment to quickly create, build, and manage Web sites and Internet applications. Get visual layout tools, experience rapid web application development, and utilize extensive code-editing support. 

To earn a certificate you must:

• Complete all 5 modules  (Courses will be offered each semester) 
• Take all modules at QVCC
• Take all modules within 1 year
• Complete all required homework and assignments

Classes may be taken individually for personal interest, but you will not earn a certificate unless you have completed all five classes. Dreamweaver & Graphic Design classes will only be offered in Danielson.  Special package price of $899 if you register for all five sections at once.

Administrative Professional with Microsoft Office Specialist
Learn the skills necessary to become a successful administrative professional. AutoCAD 2007
AutoCAD is an essential tool in many industries, including mechanical and civil engineering and architecture. Employers seek workers skilled in AutoCAD more than any other CAD system. This online program teaches students the skills needed to create and edit simple drawings and gradually introduces more advanced AutoCAD skills. CompTIA Network+/Server+ Certification Training
The CompTIA™ Network+ certification is the worldwide standard of competency for professionals with nine months experience in network support or administration. Digital Arts Certificate
The Digital Arts Certificate program focuses on developing technical skill and creative artistry in digital photography and imaging. Students learn professional applications for Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or equivalent digital-imaging and vector-drawing tools. Course projects include digital-art studies, retouching, compositing, illustration, identity design, color matching and composition studies, photo realistic imaging, color correction, and art exhibition development. Forensic Computer Examiner
This comprehensive online program prepares individuals for a career as a forensic computer examiner. Through this training, students learn to retrieve evidence and prepare reports that will hold up in a court of law. The ethics of computer forensics, preparation, and analysis of investigation results will also be covered. The primary certification for civilian forensic computer examiners is the Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) certification. This class prepares students to take the CCE certification exam. Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician
The Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician credential is the premier certification for IT professionals who support end users and troubleshoot desktop environments running on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
