Medical Office Programs
QVCC's Medical Office Receptionist, Medical Insurance Reimbursement Specialist, and Certified Professional Coder programs are for individuals who are interested in the administrative and office support side of health care instead of direct patient care. The programs build upon one another—the Medical Office Receptionist program prepares individuals for an entry-level position and is a prerequisite for the Medical Insurance Reimbursement Specialist program; both programs are prerequisites for the Certified Professional Coder program.
