LiR Standing Committees
Curriculum - William Brower & Sandra Brodeur, Co-Chairs
Following an established format, classes are offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Classes vary in the number of sessions. This committee develops the course schedule and finds volunteers to teach on a variety of topics.
Membership/Publicity - Ed Morin & Lois Brower, Co-Chairs
This committee maintains an up-to-date membership list and mails all members information on upcoming courses and events.
Finance - Roger Pellerin, Chair
LiR is a non-profit organization and the Executive Council monitors all expenditures. Currently, LiR funds several scholarships for deserving QVCC students.
Refreshment - Kathy Schimmelpfennig & Elizabeth Omerod, Co-Chairs
This committee is responsible to arrange for any refreshments that are required for LiR functions.
Information Technology - Chairperson - Open Position
This committee works on the utilization of the technical resources at the college.
Scholarship – William Brower, Chair
This committee makes recommendations for the annual scholarships and/or QVCC Foundation allotments. This committee also meets with the QVCC Foundation and awards scholarships at the QVCC Awards Night.
