LiR Standing Committees

Curriculum - Barbara Schreier, Chair

Following an established format, classes are offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Classes vary in the number of sessions. This committee develops the course schedule and finds volunteers to teach on a variety of topics.

 

Membership/Publicity - Ed Morin, CoChair & Lois Brower CoChair

This committee maintains an up-to-date membership list and mails all members information on upcoming courses and events.

 

Administration/Finance - Bart Smith, Chair

LiR is a non-profit organization and the Executive Council monitors all expenditures. Currently, LiR funds several scholarships for deserving QVCC students.

 

Social - Marguerite Dumaine & Jane Lehrer,CO-Chairs

This committee is responsible for arranging entertaining programs. There are generally 3 social programs per year, often with wonderful refreshments.

Information Technology - Richard Anger, Chair
This committee is responsible to work on the utilization of the technical resources at the college.
