Transform a Life and Improve a Community...

The QVCC Foundation was established in 1971 by the administration of the newly founded Quinebaug Valley Community College as a way to help those who otherwise could not attend college due to financial constraints by involving area business and community members in the college’s fundraising efforts.  This small, committed group paved the way for today’s 28 member strong Foundation whose mission is clear… to raise funds so that all residents of Northeastern Connecticut are provided the opportunity to attend QVCC regardless of income and to support educational excellence, technological advancement and professional development at the College.

In 2008, the Foundation provided over $135,000 in support of QVCC.
