Your gift transforms student’s lives by providing access to higher education. You also improve our local community because 75% of QVCC Students work locally while attending college. Your 1 gift supports 2 great causes!

Annual Appeal-The QVCC Foundation’s fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. Each year, the Foundation runs an annual campaign whose goal is to raise funds in support of our mission.

Special Events: The Foundation holds 2 annual friend and fund raising events – a golf tournament and an on-line auction. We are dependant on and appreciative of the outpouring of community support for these fun events. Please consider donating items to the auction, joining us for a round of golf or sponsoring a hole!

Matching Gifts-the process whereby employers support their employees charitable contributions by making a “matching” gift (usually equal to the amount made by the employee) to the Foundation. If your employer offers this, please send us your matching donation form.  This one extra step effectively doubles the gift to the Foundation.

QVCC Foundation Fund- Donors may contribute to this endowed fund whose interest is used to provide much needed annual support to the Financial Aid Office at the college.

Named Scholarships- provide donors the opportunity to endow scholarships for a minimum $10,000 contribution which will benefit current and future generations of QVCC students. Scholarships are usually named as a tribute to or in memory of someone. Scholarships are awarded annually in the spring.

It is an honor to work with the Foundation for the students at QVCC, a school that transforms lives and improves our community. From the hustle and bustle of college classes, to seeing the numbers of local businesses and organizations who use the facility as a meeting site or for training purposes, I experience daily what a special role this college plays in the life of northeastern Connecticut.
