Policy for Students Age Sixteen

Non-Partnership high school or home schooled students who have not graduated from high school or achieved their GED but wish to participate in college level courses at QVCC will be enrolled as non-degree/non-matriculated students if they can demonstrate that they can perform academically at a college level.

Students must score at least at the English 101 and/or college math level on the Basic Skills Assessment test, and be interviewed by the Dean of Learning and Student Development (or the Dean’s designee) to determine their degree of readiness for the college classroom.

Requests should be made through the Enrollment and Transition Office in Danielson or the director of the Willimantic Center.
