QVCC BOOKSTORE
QVCC operates a Bookstore in Danielson as well as a smaller store at the Willimantic Center that is open during the first few weeks of each semester. The main Danielson Bookstore is located in Room W109, just off the main lobby across from the art gallery. Books can be purchased beginning the week before classes as indicated in the extended hours listed below. Bring your course schedule to the Bookstore and a clerk will retrieve all required textbooks for you. Student workbooks or solution manuals are optional and can be purchased at a later date if needed.
The Bookstore also carries all necessary art supplies, as well as clothing, backpacks, and gift items. Registered students may also purchase computer software at a significant discount. A student ID is required.
Book Refund Policy
- Please be sure you have received the correct books before writing in them (not even a name).
- A book with a name is not eligible for a full refund.
- Original sales receipt is required.
- New and used books purchased may be returned for a refund or exchange up to 10 days after the start of classes, or one week from the purchase date thereafter.
- New books must be in the original packing or shrink wrapping.
- Software and other shrink-wrapped materials must be unopened.
- Cash refunds are given on books purchased with a personal check 17 business days after the date of the check was written. No exceptions will be made.
Book Buy-Back
During finals the Bookstore sponsors a used book buy-back. Prices for books purchased for the buy-back company are determined by supply and demand. Prices for the majority of books purchased by the Bookstore for resale are set at 40% of original price.
