COMPUTER LAB
Full access to computer lab services is only available to registered QVCC students. Users are asked to enter and exit the lab through room E188. To use the computers, you must first register with the lab monitor.
Computer Lab Hours
- Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 9:15 pm
- Saturday 8:30 am - 3:15 pm
Please Do:
- Ask the lab monitor for help when unsure of how to proceed.
- Budget time, as with any lab project, for start-up and clean-up.
- Speak softly, respecting your fellow students’ need for complete concentration.
- Bring your own data disk (3.5 HD or zip disk).
- Use print resources carefully; print to the screen and dot-matrix printers for draft and routine work.
- Take advantage of day care and other alternatives to bringing children to lab. Bringing children to lab is prohibited
- Handle the machines with care.
Please Don’t:
- Install or run personal software anywhere in the lab.
- Bring food or drink into the lab.
- Leave clothing, personal items in walk ways.
- Delete any files from the hard drives. If you do so accidentally, please notify the monitor.
