Web 2.0 Articles and Resources
The definition of the term Web 2.0 is still under some debate but the following may be regarded as some of the characteristics of a Web 2.0 web-site:
- "Network as Platform" - Full-featured applications are delivered to users directly through a browser.
- Users contribute and control data on the site. Oftentimes the site will allow the user many ways of customizing the site to fit their needs.
- A richer, web-based, user-friendly interface.
- Enhanced graphics. Increased use of bandwidth intensive multimedia files.
- Some social networking features.
