Press Conference
State Senator Donald E. Williams, Jr., president pro tempore, and QVCC President Ross Tomlin, Ed.D, hosted a press conference on February 3 to formally announce the college as one of the three new advanced manufacturing centers.
In attendance were Jeff Koehl, chairman and CEO of Spirol International; Brian K. Mignault, Sr., Ph.D., principal of H.H. Ellis Technical High School; Karen Osbrey, president of the QVCC Foundation; and Jeff Paul, president of Whitcraft Group; as well as legislators, members of the press and college staff.
