The Office of Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing and maintaining the college's community image, promoting its mission, priorities and initiatives, and communicating key institutional messaging to the outside world. Our goal is to increase public awareness and perception of the college, build equity for the QVCC brand, and enhance the QVCC image.
The Office creates and disseminates information about the college to assist current and potential students learn more about QVCC and identify areas of study that meet their interest and inform the community and college supporters on a local and regional level. In addition, it creates content designed to help college departments meet their enrollment and communication goals.
Marketing & Communications promotes the college and its students, faculty, and staff through comprehensive and coordinated communications and marketing plans. The office creates a strong, positive, and consistent image for the college through its marketing efforts which include advertising, publications, copywriting, creative design, photography, event support, and web communications. It produces all college publications, including the catalog, credit and non-credit course schedules, viewbooks, and a wide variety of other marketing materials including brochures, flyers, and posters. Marketing & Communications also writes press releases, handles media relations, and manages the college's website.
