QVCC'S WILLIMANTIC CENTER OFFERS JOB TRAINING AND CREDIT FREE PROGRAMS
Quinebaug Valley Community College’s Community & Professional Learning is now offering an array of training beginning at the end of January at the QVCC Willimantic Center, 729 Main Street, Willimantic, CT.
The college is offering career seekers job training courses including
Certified Nursing Assistant, Real Estate Principles and Practices and a
series of courses to earn a certificate in Web Page Design. The Small
Business Support Center at QVCC is offering a one day workshop called What
You Should Know about Starting a Business, February 28 or April 3 from 6:00
pm – 8:00 pm. This workshop is for you if you are thinking of starting a
business or in the early stages of your business. It will explain
entrepreneurial requirements, tax regulations and keeping track of your
business.
Explore personal enrichment with Home Gardening for the Green Thumb
beginning March 25, Beginner’s Guide to Getting Published on April 21st and
Meet the Publisher – Get Your Manuscript Critiqued on April 21st. Training
in Microsoft Excel & Access will be offered in April and June. These short
full day or half day training sessions will get you started with the
applications or get questions answered for the self trained.
