annual QVCC/QVPI high school plastics expo May 16
WHAT: The 5th Annual High School Plastics Expo
The QVCC/QVPI (Quinebaug Valley Plastics Institute) Plastics Expo is the
culmination of a partnership between six local high schools and six plastics
companies from northeast Connecticut.
The official kick-off took place on November 16th at QVCC. Each team
consists of 15 students, a team leader (teacher/administrator) and company
representatives. They have a budget of $1,500 to create a prototype of a new
product. They are required to submit a project binder containing concept
designs, materials used, manufacturing plans and sales & marketing
materials.
