QVCC RECEIVES MORE THAN $200,000 IN ADDITIONAL STUDENT AID
The Connecticut legislature has recently approved an increase to the Connecticut Aid to Public College Students Grant Program in the amount of $235,356 for Quinebaug Valley Community College. This is an increase of 88.4% from the last fiscal year and the program now provides $501,730 to Quinebaug Valley Community College students. The additional dollars will provide many students the opportunity to attend QVCC.
Quinebaug Valley Community College’s financial aid office is committed to meeting the direct costs of its students. Direct costs include the cost of your tuition, fees and books. More than 50% of QVCC’s students qualify for some type of financial aid. The aid is in the form of grants, which do not need to be repaid. It is not too late to apply for financial aid and enroll for the fall semester. By simply completing the FAFSA- www.fafsa.ed.gov, you may qualify for these grants.
