QVCC AND STAPLES PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR BUSINESS INTERNS
Quinebaug Valley Community College and the Staples Killingly
Distribution Center are providing internship opportunities for the College’s
business students. The idea for the partnership was developed by Adjunct
Faculty Member and Staples Inventory Control Manager Mike Beausoleil and
QVCC Business Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Business and
Accounting Jennifer Oliver.
Oliver said, “The internship partnership that has been developed between QVCC and Staples is obviously a win-win for both parties. I look forward to working with Staples in developing the expertise of our students, and I am grateful to them for their continued commitment to our program.”
“I’m very encouraged by the introduction of the Internship Program and the collaboration between QVCC and Staples," said Beausoleil. "This is an excellent opportunity for our local students to experience a global company environment and to be exposed to the important business decisions that take place on a daily basis to meet the needs of our customers.”
