Racheal Renfree

“I graduated from high school at the top of my class, but just didn’t have the support system I needed to guide me in the right direction.  Fortunately, I was invited to be a part of the OFS program at QVCC.  There were students from all walks of life, but we had one thing in common – the desire to further our education.  The courses provided us with the necessary tools to succeed in a college setting, while building friendships with a core group so we wouldn’t feel alone on campus.  With the program, I reached my goal of graduating with an Associate degree in two years.  Afterward, I transferred to ECSU as a Transfer Compact student and earned my Bachelor in Arts degree in another two years.  My ultimate goal was to get a great education in four years, as inexpensively as I could, and I did it!  None of this could have happened without the support of the OFS program at QVCC.”
