Beginning Your Classes
All online distance learning classes in the Connecticut Community College system use Blackboard Vista. Blackboard Vista courses typically become accessible two weeks prior to the start of classes. To access Blackboard Vista, log to in myCommNet. Enter your Net ID and 8-character password (the same information you entered when you registered for classes via the Internet) Once you have logged on, click the Student tab and then the "Click here to access Blackboard Vista" link. Your class list will display. Click on a given class to locate the course syllabus and any other information posted by your instructor.
An orientation is offered for those students who are able to visit either the Danielson campus or Willimantic center. The Blackboard Vista orientation for distance learning students will be scheduled in a computer lab in Danielson and Willimantic immediately preceeding the start of the semester.
