ELECTIONS FOR SGA 2013-2014 LEADERSHIP
Elections for the 2013-2014 Student Government Association Leadership are scheduled for April 24 and April 25, 2013. Any part-time or full-time credit bearing student at QVCC with a grade point average of 2.0 or higher is encouraged to run for office. Nominations will begin on March 1, 2013 and will close on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. sharp. Campaigning will begin on April 8 and will continue through election days.

QVCC Student Government Association (SGA)
The Student Government Association is comprised of QVCC students who are committed to promoting and securing the well being and rights of all QVCC students. Their purpose is to provide an effective means of communication between the students and other college constituencies; to provide leadership and coordination for a well-balanced co-curricular student activities enrichment program; to oversee the distribution and expenditure of the Student Activities account pursuant to established SGA, QVCC, and State regulations; and to act as a voice to invorm the public about the needs of Community College students.
